“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children” Hosea 4:6

• People go into bondage due to the lack of knowledge
• And people remain in bondage due to the lack of knowledge
• Lack of knowledge NOT “how powerful the devil is” is the reason why people suffer different kinds of bondages and afflictions

True knowledge is the key to lasting deliverance or freedom
“…. through knowledge shall the just be delivered.” Proverbs 11:9
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

• Deliverance could come through power encounter or Word encounter
• When one is delivered through power encounter, the person is set free but when a person is delivered through Word encounter the person is made free
• The difference is that the person that is set free can be rearrested while the person that is made free can never be rearrested again.

“When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first…” Matthew 12: 43-45.

• Deliverance without adequate knowledge could be dangerous.
• Deliverance through knowledge brings about a total transformation
