By Their Fruits

| Feb 18, 2024

“Therefore by their fruits you will know them.” Matthew 7:20 (NKJV)

Beloved, what kind of fruits do you bear? Are you a true representative of Christ to people around you? The Bible calls us “ambassadors of Christ.” Do you know that the disciples of Jesus Christ were first called Christians in antio because of what people saw in them and about them. It is the fruit that you bear that tells people who you are. Galatians chapter 5, from verse 19 to 23 talks about the works of the flesh and the fruit of the spirit, which of these do you bear? “The wrong things the sinful self does are clear: committing sexual sin, being morally bad, doing all kinds of shameful things, worshiping false gods, taking part in witchcraft, hating people, causing trouble, being jealous, angry or selfish, causing people to argue and divide into separate groups, being filled with envy, getting drunk, having wild parties, and doing other things like this. I warn you now as I warned you before: The people who do these things will not have a part in God’s kingdom. But the fruit that the Spirit produces in a person’s life is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these kinds of things. Galatians 5:19 - 23 (ERV). May you bear the fruit of the Spirit and be a true ambassador of Christ to the people around you and to the world in general, amen.
