Decree As A King

“And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” Rev 1:5-6

We read in Job 22:28, “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” (KJV) This means that you will pronounce something to be and God will make it so. The Amplified Bible says “You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God’s favor] shall shine upon your ways.” Decrees are the privileges of kings! When a king decrees something, it becomes the law of the land. Therefore, we as kings and priests, seated in heavenly places, can make decrees according to the Word and will of God. When we do so, a law is established in the spirit world, and what we decree comes to pass. So, today, understand that you are a king according to the finished work of Jesus Christ and you should make decrees as a king and watch them established as laws that are being enforced.

In Psalms 103:20 we read, “Bless the Lord, you angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word.” God gives His word and when we give a voice to His word, angel activity is released to bring His word to pass. That is why it is so important to always speak positive, faith inspired words based on the Word of God. That is why, “the power of life and death are in the tongue!”
